Goal: to provide training, competition, and health opportunities for over 25,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities.

Promoted to lead a team of 25 staff, regional directors, and volunteers that oversaw the strategy, budget, and successful execution of a “membership retention” plan for the pandemic, ultimately resulting in 87% membership retention and engagement across
all platforms.

Co-developed and grew "Total Body Challenge" and “SONJ at Home”, two daily virtual wellness programs that engaged over 9,000 athletes and volunteers in a 6-month span, 9% of whom experienced Special Olympics for the first time ever.

Researched, wrote, and delivered fitness content for Special Olympics North America to reach approximately 500,000 athletes and 100,000 coaches and leadership officials.

Strategized with Special Olympics Africa officials to overcome their pandemic-induced funding, infrastructure, and program concerns, supplying content and programming that engaged 800+ athletes in 5 countries.

Built and maintained key relationships with thousands of stakeholders in the SO community, including coaches, volunteers, state politicians, corporate donors, and healthcare officials.

Managed a cross-functional team controlling the operations and marketing for all 54 team sport events and programming, showing an 11.5% engagement increase and helping to generate $4.5 million in funding from 2018-2020.

Developed and facilitated educational resources to help coaches build confidence, competence, and character in their athletes, engaging over 10,000 athletes and 110 programs annually.

Reformed content and wrote copy for sport-specific webpages, which saw a 24.7% traffic increase in two months with considerable reduction of repeat questions from the public.

Created a process for collecting and closely analyzing feedback, a system of tracking qualitative and foundational metrics, and one-pagers to establish consistent messaging internally. This data allowed us to create four new program offerings that saw a 12% athlete engagement increase in two years.

Controlled all scheduling and hotel arrangements for over 200 teams and groups across 25 sports, equating to over 14,000 athletes, coaches, and volunteers.

Secured a $30,000/year corporate sponsor who has contributed $150,000 since 2017.

Transformed and simplified an outdated inventory tracking system, still utilized today, saving over $40,000 in unnecessary inventory costs in the first full year, all of which was allocated towards funding an underprivileged group home.
